Parish Portal is a collaborative project between the Diocese of Arundel and Brighton and Digital Creative Agency, All Interactive.
Whilst working with Rev Deacon Mark Woods on the new website for the Diocese of Arundel and Brighton, we all saw the benefits in creating a facility for individual Catholic Parishes to create and improve their own web presence. We formed a steering group consisting of Priests from four Parishes within the Diocese and held regular meetings to develop the product together.
The rest as they say is history and Parish Portal was born!
If you choose Parish Portal for your Parish, We'll help you get up and running in no time. All you need to do is start adding your site content through our easy to use content manangent system.
We are here to support you every step of the way.
Parish Portal was purpose built for Catholic Parishes. We developed Parish Portal with the help of representatives of four Parishes from the Diocese of Arundel and Brighton.
Parish Portal Websites are hosted together on a secure platform. This means that the Parish always has access to the Website without needing to rely on a single individual.
Parish Portal Websites share a codebase and content management system. As more and more Parishes come aboard, new features and updates are rolled out to benefit all Parish Websites.
The Parish Portal content manangement system has been carefully designed to make it easy for administrators to update the website. Ongoing support is available by email or phone.
Parish Portal has been built with a mobile-first approach. As the proportion of users using mobile to access websites increases, your Parish Portal site is designed to offer a good user experience.
Parish Websites are built to be Search Engine friendly, allowing your Parish to be found and to return high in results of key Search Engines.
